At the end of an intense and spectacular match, which promises great things for the Champions League play-offs between the two clubs (February 11 and 19), PSG won 2-5 in Brest. As well as sending out a “message” ahead of their European fixtures, the win confirmed that the PSG team is strong and on the move.

Behind them, OM had a clash with OL, a match that was also very eventful, with Marseille winning after 5 second-half goals and overall dominance (20 shots to 10, 64% possession). The result keeps Marseille 10 points behind PSG and 3 ahead of 3rd-placed Monaco.

Monaco struggled against Strasbourg, but ended up winning 4-2 at home to Auxerre to confirm their recovery from a difficult period. Lille also took the 3 points, quite logically against Saint-Etienne, while Nice completed one of the worst operations of the European race by taking just one point at home to Auxerre. Lens, for their part, climbed back up the table after halting Montpellier’s ascent.

Rennes, meanwhile, finally halted their worrying slide down the table, winning a complicated match against Strasbourg. Angers and Le Havre shared the spoils in a tense draw (1 red for each side) that left no one better off. Nantes pulled off a major coup with a 2-1 win over Reims, which could put an end to Luka Elsner’s adventure on the Reims bench.
