Match schedule for matchday 29.
PSG and Nantes will have to wait and see, which is more of a problem for Nantes, who are in the race to stay up, while Paris are already champions of France. Just behind them, the race for Europe is very tight.
In particular, there are 2 very important fixtures: Monaco (3rd) could overtake Olympique de Marseille (2nd) at the Stade Louis II, while Strasbourg (4th) could confirm their comeback and leave OGC Nice (6th) in huge doubt at the Stade de la Meinau. In mid-table, Lyon (5th) must not let their heads drop if they are to avoid regrets at Auxerre (10th).
Behind them, Lille (7th) and Brest (8th) need to get back on track. Watch out for Toulouse, always a tough nut to crack, in 11th place, and Saint-Etienne, in 17th, who must fight to avoid the drop. On the maintenance front, Rennes (12th) and Le Havre (15th) face off in a very important match. Rennes could rest easy with a win, while Le Havre are clearly in need of points; Angers (14th) can try to take advantage of a resigned Montpellier (18th), even if it’s not mathematically a done deal.
Last but not least, Lens (9th) host Reims (16th) for an almost last-ditch chance of catching Europe, while the Rémois have to fight hard to get out of the play-off spot.
