Match schedule for Matchday 30.
PSG are under no pressure, and must “simply” celebrate their qualification for the Champions League semi-finals (April 29 and May 7) against Arsenal, while preparing themselves for this great end to the season. Le Havre will then have to give their all in order to take at least 1 point which could well make the difference. We’ll also see how attached the Parisians are to records.
Just behind PSG in the standings, Monaco and Strasbourg go head-to-head in a match that is vital in the European race. ASM will need to build on their fine 3-0 victory over Olympique de Marseille. Strasbourg also had a big date last weekend, when they drew 2-2 with Nice. We’ll need to put in a great performance.
In any case, 3rd-placed OM must make the most of this encounter to climb back up the table when they host Montpellier, who are currently on a 10-game losing streak. Watch out for a nasty surprise.
Nice (7th) could also revive their fortunes when they host Angers, but the 14th-placed team will not be giving away any gifts in their race to stay up. Over in Europe, Brest (8th) and Lens (9th) face off in a duel in which a win could keep them in the hunt.
Closing out the season is a derby of extremes. Saint-Etienne (17th) need a win to advance towards a possible place in the relegation zone, while Olympique Lyonnais (4th) need a win to confirm their possible place in the Champions League. These will be two battles to the finish, with all points up for grabs.
