PSG were behind, but there was no panic. The team showed it has real strengths, in pressing, creativity and confidence. In the end, it was enough to turn the match around and win against a fine Brest team. An encouraging performance.

The Parisians come into Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Girona in good shape, with 12 points from 12 in Ligue 1. That’s what it takes to be top of the table, as Olympique de Marseille and AS Monaco have once again shown that they have what it takes to have a great season. Victories of 2-0 over Nice and 0-3 over Auxerre are no mean feats.

On the last game, Lens and Lyon shared the points. Not a bad result in itself, but Lens were hoping to keep up with OM and ASM, while Lyon wanted to follow it up with a second win to move up the table.
