On Matchday 14 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faces Monaco at the Stade Louis II this Saturday at 5:00 PM CET. It’s always an important match given the history, but the fixture itself isn’t necessarily a top-tier affair.
The standings:

The matches:

PSG needs to put their Champions League match against Tottenham on Wednesday behind them, and they’ll do so with a rather significant trip to Monaco. However, it’s worth noting that Monaco is far from its best form. The 8th-placed team is struggling after three defeats. But, be warned, the match against Paris is always special. The Parisians will need to be fully focused.
For the other top teams, the matches will be against teams in the bottom half of the table. Marseille (2nd) hosts Toulouse (10th), a team capable of causing problems for everyone but also prone to slip-ups. Third-placed Lens will have to be wary of an Angers side currently 11th but on the rise.
Lille (4th) will face a tough away match against Le Havre, a 12th-placed team that put on a good performance last weekend against PSG. Strasbourg (5th) seem to be the clear favorites against Brest (14th). However, Brest are not giving up easily and appear to be improving.
Rennes (6th) will be looking to confirm that things are looking up, especially after coach Habib Beye nearly lost his job a few weeks ago when they traveled to Metz. However, the 17th-placed team has resilience and has managed to recover from a terrible start to the season. It remains to be seen how they will react to their first defeat after three wins. Finally, Lyon (7th) also desperately needs a win after five matches without taking all three points. That should be the objective against Nantes, except that the 15th-placed team can also be a pain.
