Désiré Doué (19-year-old midfielder/striker), João Neves (20-year-old midfielder) and Ousmane Dembélé (27-year-old striker) undoubtedly deserve to be included in this model team, given their impressive performances as part of an in-form team. Which also logically puts Luis Enrique in this selection.
His PSG first swept aside Lille in the space of 30 minutes, before settling in for the Champions League. We always love an attacking festival and a team that plays its heart out from start to finish, but you have to have a little wisdom in a very busy schedule.
Perhaps other Parisians could have been present, such as Achraf Hakimi (26-year-old right-back), Fabian Ruiz (28-year-old midfielder) or Bradley Barcola (22-year-old striker). But other Ligue 1 players also deserved to be honored.
