As after every round of the league, L’Équipe has named its Team of the Week for Matchday 3 of the 2025–2026 Ligue 1 season, played this past weekend (results and table available here). Following their 6–3 win away at Toulouse, Paris Saint-Germain sees two of its players included.
João Neves (20-year-old midfielder) was an obvious choice for this team, while Bradley Barcola (22-year-old forward) is far from a surprise. The former was a master in midfield, with 101 touches of the ball, and dazzled everyone with a top-class hat-trick — enough to earn a perfect 10 in the sports daily. The latter was a livewire in attack and capped his display with a fine goal.
Perhaps other PSG players could have hoped for inclusion, such as Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old forward). But conceding three goals still weighs against the team, and several other Ligue 1 players delivered standout performances worthy of recognition.
