As after every league round, L’Équipe has unveiled its Team of the Week for Matchday 7 of the 2025–2026 Ligue 1 season (see results and standings here). Following their 1-1 draw against Lille (video highlights Lille/PSG) at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Paris Saint-Germain has one player included in the lineup.
A well-deserved recognition for Lucas Hernandez, confirming the 29-year-old defender’s return to form — a positive sign both for him and for PSG. The French international has battled back from two major injuries and has gradually regained rhythm and confidence. Hopefully, he can continue on this path.
It’s hard to see which other Parisian could have made the team, even though there were some solid performances (notably Willian Pacho and Lee Kang-In). However, PSG didn’t particularly shine overall, and other players across the league were more deserving of the spotlight this week.
