As is customary after each round of league matches, L’Équipe has published its Team of the Week for Matchday 33 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, which took place this past weekend With their 1-0 victory against Brest at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain has one player selected.

Ligue 1 - L'Equipe's Team of the Week for Matchday 33, a first for PSG

Renato Marin, the 19-year-old goalkeeper, played only his second Ligue 1 match (his third official game for PSG including the Coupe de France), and he made a very good impression. He made some fine saves, cleared some aerial balls, and displayed real character with his feet. Even if there are still a few things to work on, it’s still a promising debut for a professional.

We weren’t expecting to see other PSG players in this Team of the Week, after a match that seemed a bit lackluster despite PSG’s dominance. There’s the high demand from PSG, and the fact that other Ligue 1 players shone this weekend. We must never forget that there’s real quality in this league. We could still consider Senny Mayulu, a very interesting 19-year-old midfielder playing at right-back for PSG.
