The match between PSG (1st) and Angers (14th) could be the one that seals the title for Paris, especially as all it takes is a draw. A mere detail for coach Luis Enrique, when there are still things to achieve. But it’s still a moment that counts. Opposite them, Angers are fighting for survival and won’t want to simply watch the party.

Behind them, Monaco must confirm the 2nd place they regained last weekend against last place. It’s not going to be easy against Brest, a team that’s always tough to beat. Especially as the 8th-placed team needs points if they are to have any hope of a European place at the end of the season.

The 3rd and 4th-placed teams, Olympique de Marseille and Nice, are on a mission to get back on track and avoid being overtaken in a very tight battle. Here, too, they’ll be up against some tough teams. Toulouse (11th) have one of the best defences in the league, while Nantes (13th) must ensure their survival.

The great duel for Europe will be between Lille (5th) and Lyon (7th), even if it’s not yet decisive with games still to come. Between the two, Strasbourg (6th) can hope to take advantage of the encounter to advance. A trip to 15th-placed Reims could do the trick, except that Reims still has plenty to play for and will be full of confidence after their 3-1 win over OM.

In terms of staying up, Saint-Etienne (17th) could try to take advantage of the poor form of Lens (9th), perhaps with the disappointment of seeing Europe slip away, to strike a blow. Elsewhere, Montpellier (18th) must win against Le Havre (16th) if they are to have any hope. Le Havre, meanwhile, can at least move away from the places that send them straight into Ligue 2.
