Each month, the UNFP organizes the election of the best player in Ligue 1. For the October 2025 election, one Paris Saint-Germain player is not among the finalists. The competition is between Sofiane Diop (25-year-old striker from Nice), Mason Greenwood (24-year-old striker from Olympique de Marseille), and Joaquin Panichelli (23-year-old striker from Strasbourg).
