Each month, the UNFP organizes a vote for the best player in Ligue 1. For the September 2026 award, one Paris Saint-Germain player was among the finalists. The competition was between Paris Brunner (a 20-year-old forward from AS Monaco), Lassine Sinayoko (a 26-year-old forward from Paris FC), and Ferran Torres (a 26-year-old forward from PSG). Torres came out on top.

It is a fine achievement for Torres; this honorary accolade further confirms and rewards his explosive start at PSG. That said, we have seen high-flying starts followed by much more difficult spells. We hope the Spaniard can keep the momentum going—the fact that he has already settled well into the style of play should help. But football moves fast, especially in attacking positions where confidence is key.
