This Sunday, during Matchday 7 of Ligue 1 2025-2026, Paris Saint-Germain faced Lille at the Stade Pierre Mauroy. After a match in which the Rouge et Bleu dominated, with some youthful errors, they were overtaken in the final, with the final score 1-1. Here are our ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Lucas Chevalier (5) – He didn’t have much to do in the first half. A rather quiet match for a reunion with his former club. It took a shot from Mbappé to cast doubt on his level since the start of the season. While masked, he could still have done better.
Defenders –
Warren Zaïre-Emery (5) – Poor passing, he’s not playing in his position either, he was caught on the wing, and even though he fought, we didn’t find the incredible energy of his professional debut. An overall average match.
Lucas Beraldo (6) – Pretty clean in the first half. He played a pretty decent game. Sometimes caught up in duels, he remains very strong in the air, which compensates for his weaknesses on the ground. With the ball, he’s very good.
Willian Pacho (7) – Solid as usual. A real rock, a true leader.
Lucas Hernandez (6) – His physical game has improved. He’s still a little slow, but he knows how to position himself perfectly. He’s tough and he’s coming back pretty well. Replaced in the 68th minute by Ilya Zabarnyi.
Midfielders –
Senny Mayulu (5) – Fairly bland in the first half, he’s not uninteresting, but he could have done more. His transition play is very good and he showed that he can keep the ball technically. Replaced in the 59th minute by Vitinha.
Lee Kang-In (6.5) – A key player in the game, we often regret that he doesn’t take more risks with his passing skills and his ability to hold onto the ball. He had the merit of dictating the tempo. A good second half as well; he did well to keep possession.
Quentin Ndjantou (5) – Small errors, some fire, but he struggled to settle into this new role. He’s learning. Left on the pitch by Luis Enrique, he gained experience. He fought well.
Forwards –
Ibrahim Mbaye (5) – He has striking qualities; now he needs to be more precise with his final move. Replaced in the 59th minute by Achraf Hakimi.
Gonçalo Ramos (4) – He barely touched the ball in the first half; he failed to make the right choices. Poorly served, it didn’t help him.
Bradley Barcola (5) – PSG’s main threat, it should be noted that he still misses far too many chances. He makes notable technical errors that he needs to correct. Replaced in the 59th minute by Nuno Mendes.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (6) – We have to take into account his starting 11. He’s not afraid; he’s even preparing players for the future. He knows he might need the youngsters later on, so he’s giving them experience to be there later in the season if the need arises with other absences. The draw wasn’t deserved, but it also paid for its reduced squad and the mistakes that can occur. Lille didn’t give up.
