Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique spoke to Sky Sport Italia on Wednesday ahead of the Champions League final against Inter Milan at the Allianz Arena on May 31 (CET).

“When you work as a coach, it’s important to anticipate the possible course of the season. You never really know what’s going to happen or what the team can achieve, but we’ve certainly made a lot of progress compared to last year.
For me, there are a lot of stars in this team, and that’s the beauty of it: it’s the stars that serve the team, not the other way round. It’s all very different.»

Luis Enrique is constantly hammering home the importance of the collective at Paris Saint-Germain. For the Spanish coach, PSG’s strength lies not just in the accumulation of stars, but in their ability to put themselves at the service of the group.
