On Sunday at Groupama Stadium, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Olympique Lyonnais 3-2 in Matchday 12 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. Here are the player ratings given by Le Parisien and L’Équipe to the capital club’s players.
Le Parisien:
Kvaratshelia (5.5) – Mayulu (3) – Lee (5)
Ruiz (5) – Vitinha (7) – Neves (7)
Hernandez (3.5) – Pacho (5) – Zabarnyi (4) – Zaïre-Emery (6)
Chevalier (4)
L’Equipe:
Luis Enrique – 6
Kvaratshelia (6) – Mayulu (4) – Lee (6)
Ruiz (5) – Vitinha (8) – Neves (6)
Hernandez (5) – Pacho (6) – Zabarnyi (3) – Zaïre-Emery (7)
Chevalier (4)
It’s difficult to rate the Parisians for both media outlets. There’s also a desire, through the ratings, to highlight the quality of the opposition this Sunday evening. Ultimately, the best players of the match receive the highest overall ratings. Zaire-Emery and Vitinha were good, and it shows in the ratings. Chevalier was once again spared criticism, while Zabarnyi still hasn’t convinced.
In midfield, while L’Equipe deservedly praised Vitinha, Le Parisien opted for a “scorer = good match” approach for Neves. The diminutive Portuguese player had a modest game, his goal rewarding his resilience. Lee was somewhat overlooked, despite another solid overall performance.
