Luis Campos arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022, replacing sporting director Leonardo, but with a special role as “soccer advisor”. His track record is a regular topic of debate, and rumours of a departure have been circulating for months, along with those of a contract extension. Yesterday, there were rumours of negotiations with another major European club. This was denied by journalist Ben Jacobs.
We remain cautious, as this is still only a rumour and not official news from PSG or Luis Campos. So we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
However, this journalist is generally reliable. There is at least reason to believe that discussions are still ongoing between the Portuguese manager and the Parisian club. Let’s wait and see what the Portuguese’s future holds.
