Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old striker signed by Paris Saint-Germain until June 2028, was one of the club’s biggest transfers when he arrived at the summer mercato in September 2023. But he has failed to establish himself and a departure is looming. Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (Sky Sport) insists that Juventus are looking to accelerate before getting ahead of the strong competition.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that “the Bianconeri have had new contacts with PSG”.
“In recent hours, the Bianconeri have had new contacts with PSG. They are trying to reach an agreement with PSG before seeking an agreement with the player. The club is doing everything it can to find this agreement and get ahead of the competition. Pending the player’s yes, Juventus is therefore making a major effort to shorten the negotiation time and bring him to Turin.”
Relatively credible assertions, but we must remain cautious as there is still no concrete evidence. Moreover, an Italian newspaper claimed that Juventus had already reached an agreement with Kolo Muani, whereas this is not the case here.
We’re waiting for something concrete, and hoping we won’t have to wait too long. The mercato can quickly become tiresome in the midst of rumours. At least, Kolo Muani has a real chance of leaving, and a rather attractive way out. The other contenders are also of a certain standing. Let’s hope for confirmation soon.
