Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old French national team striker who was struggling at Paris Saint-Germain, has been loaned out to Juventus Turin until the end of the 2024-2025 season without an option to buy. For the time being, he is back in form with some fine performances punctuated by goals, and the idea of seeing him stay is being mooted. Cristiano Giuntoli, the Turin club’s sporting director, confirmed the position to Sky.
“We want to keep Kolo Muani at the club at the end of the season. The relationship with PSG is very good, so we’re going to talk to try and find a solution. We have the advantage because we’ve managed to beat several competitors. The agreement we’ve reached with PSG will lead us to discuss him again this summer.
The message is already very clear, and Kolo Muani will no doubt appreciate this confidence. Now we just need everyone to agree. Which seems quite likely, but it’s not a given. Not least because the clubs will have to talk about the formula and the figures. There’s still time before the summer, so there’s no need to rush. But it’s already shaping up rather nicely, and that’s good.
