As the 2024-2025 winter mercato draws ever closer (January), the rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. Today, Le Parisien assures us that PSG will need to recruit some departures.
Arrivals in case of departures, the Kolo Muani case… What will PSG’s winter mercato look like?
In the midst of the multitude of rumors surrounding PSG’s targets, this is a chilling blow. According to the Francilien newspaper, the club is not going to turn everything upside down, and is relying mainly on the return from injury of players such as Gonçalo Ramos and Lucas Hernandez.
Milan Skriniar (29-year-old central defender) and Randal Kolo Muani (26-year-old striker) would have to leave in order to recruit replacements. Although these players are clearly on their way out and agree with this idea, they won’t be sold easily. There’s talk of a certain demand on the price.
We’re wary, as it’s still a rumor, and we’ve seen enough during the mercato that the media can be overwhelmed by what’s really going on. However, it’s worth remembering that the winter mercato is rarely marked by many changes. Clubs don’t open the door easily, and there’s the fear of upsetting the squad.
