Lucas Chevalier, the 23-year-old goalkeeper for Lille (contract runs until 2027) and the French national team, has been mentioned as a target for Paris Saint-Germain this summer. L’Equipe‘s Loïc Tanzi reports that the Parisian club is very interested in the Lille keeper. With Gianluigi Donnarumma’s extension reportedly at a standstill, the summer mercato is likely to see some movement on the goalkeeping front.

Donnarumma just can’t seem to get over that hurdle. He can be exceptional at times and fall short at others. He’s not a goalkeeper everyone agrees with, and Luis Enrique may well be tempted to look for a more complete young keeper for next year.
Lucas Chevalier ticks all the boxes. He’s young, has good footwork and knows how to play great games. We’ll remain cautious, but we know for sure that the names of Donnarumma and Chevalier will be mentioned. The summer rumours are already starting.
