Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old French national team striker who was struggling at Paris Saint-Germain, has been loaned out to Juventus Turin until the end of the 2024-2025 season without an option to buy. He initially bounced back well, and the Turin club announced its intention to keep him. However, this has yet to materialize, so we’re waiting for an official announcement. Corriere dello Sport assures us that there are good hopes of a new loan deal, this time with an option to buy at 50 million euros.
“CorSport: Juve optimistic to keep for Randal Kolo Muani next season, his loan could be extended with 50M purchase option.”
Beware, nothing is yet certain. Kolo Muani has been the subject of many rumours, but nothing is certain yet. We need to wait for official details. Negotiations have yet to take place, probably after the Club World Cup.
But the outcome, if it’s with an extended stay at Juventus, could well be for a sum in the region of 50 million euros. Somewhat of a loss compared to his transfer to PSG for around 90 million euros, but a rather nice rescue given how lost he seemed in Paris.
