Lucas Beraldo, Brazil’s 20-year-old defender, has struggled to fully convince since joining Paris Saint-Germain in January 2024 (contract runs until 2028). PSG Inside Actus reports that the Brazilian is among the players who could be loaned out in the winter mercato, along with Senny Mayulu (18-year-old midfielder/attacker) and Arnau Tenas (23-year-old goalkeeper).
“Senny Mayulu, Arnau Tenas and Beraldo could be loaned out for six months this winter. All three will be replaced if they leave, especially the central defender…
The Brazilian player is still finding it hard to adjust to French life and is making too many mistakes. The club wants to keep him for the long term, but could still loan him out for a short period, same for Mayulu.”
In the case of Mayulu and Tenas, a loan deal seems a real possibility. The goalkeeper in particular, who currently holds the number 3 position and therefore has little playing time. The young midfielder, however, could find his place in the team, with a succession of matches and absences that can quickly add up. His place may also depend on other opportunities, both arrivals and departures, this winter.
As for Beraldo, it’s more surprising given that he plays relatively often. Especially as Milan Skriniar (29) is already rumoured to be on his way out. We don’t expect PSG to shake up its entire defense this winter.
So let’s remain cautious: nothing is certain yet. Rumors are already piling up, as we’re used to.
