Carlos Soler, the 27-year-old midfielder who arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022 from Valencia with a contract running until 2022, failed to convince on the pitch and was loaned out to West Ham for the 2024-2025 season. The Spanish player is starting to get the hang of it here, and according to Le Parisien, he would be happy in the London capital. West Ham would be tempted to activate the €20m purchase option.
“Confirmation: West Ham are thinking of buying Carlos Soler for good!
He loves London and West Ham have a €20m option to buy him!
West Ham are delighted with the player’s commitment and PSG are not considering his return. Discussions have begun.
Le Parisien.”
This would be great news not only for the player, but also for PSG, who would succeed in selling one of their flops for a handsome sum. Nothing is set in stone yet, but the idea that it could happen has never been more present.
Soler won’t be returning to Paris (a priori), so West Ham looks like a fantastic way out for this quality player. We await further information.
