This Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain (2nd in Ligue 1) face AS Monaco (8th) at the Stade Louis II (Kick-off is at 9 pm, CET) in the first leg of their 2025-2026 Champions League playoff (the second leg is on Wednesday, February 25th). On Monday evening, L’Equipe reported that Paris Saint-Germain striker Ousmane Dembélé (28 years old) felt discomfort during the day’s training session.
“During the closed-door training session at the Stade Louis-II on Monday evening, the striker complained of discomfort in his leg.
He performed several sprints, seemingly testing himself, and spoke with the team doctor. On Friday evening, the Ballon d’Or winner finished the match against Rennes (1-3) already complaining of discomfort.”
Dembélé is not yet ruled out; it will depend on the results of his tests during training and how he feels tomorrow. However, it’s not encouraging, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see another player start tomorrow’s match. Especially since coach Luis Enrique isn’t one to take risks. Let’s wait and see.
