João Neves, Paris Saint-Germain’s 20-year-old midfielder, stopped off in the mixed zone after the 1-1 draw with Nantes (video highlights Nantes/PSG) this Tuesday at the Stade de la Beaujoire in the late match of Matchday 29 of Ligue 1 2024-2025. He spoke of the record unbeaten away from home in the 5 major leagues, which has now been broken (39, ahead of AC Milan’s 38). And the record for unbeaten league games in a single season.

Neves “we used them to learn and improve.”

How did you feel after the draw ?

I think we played a very good match. I think we can improve on the details, as we do in every match. We use matches like this to learn and improve.

I’m happy for the team, we didn’t lose. And I know as well as you do that we’ve broken a record: 39 away games without a loss.

Are you aiming to be unbeaten in the league this season ?

We’re not concentrating on that, we’re concentrating on doing our best for the team, for the club. If we do our best, we’ll be one step closer to victory. So we’re going to try every game, every day.
