Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique held a press conference this Saturday ahead of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 match against Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire tomorrow (kick-off at 8:45 p.m., CET). On the sidelines of this event, the Spaniard also spoke to PSG TV.
Enrique: “We want to be in the right frame of mind to win everything.”
Very little preparation time and already crowned European champions, what does this bring to the squad?
“It’s a strange start, very strange, because this situation isn’t normal. But at the same time, we’ve won this title, and it’s great to win the season with a victory, a trophy.”
What are your goals for the team this season in the league and other competitions?
“After last season, it’s difficult to really know. Finally, it’s easy; we just want to win everything. We want to be in the right frame of mind to win everything. Last year, we wanted to make history. This year, we want to continue making history, so we want to win our second Champions League. It’s very difficult, but motivating.”
How do you imagine this match and this trip?
“We played three days ago. We want to get our ball feeling back, improve our physical condition. We want to start in the best possible way, and to do that, we have to win the match.”
