This Sunday, on Matchday 1 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faced Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire. After a match in which the Red and Blue largely dominated, they won 0-1. Here are our ratings for the Parisians.

Contents
Goalkeeper –Defenders –Midfielders –Forwards –Coach –

Goalkeeper –

Lucas Chevalier (6) – An uneventful first half. He really didn’t have to work hard. He’ll have to get used to it.

Defenders –

Warren Zaïre-Emery (6) – An interesting first half. He lacked a bit of dynamism. He played his game, he’s building up the pressure.

Ilya Zabarnyi (6) – A very pressured start to the match, two or three small errors, then he got back into his game. Overall, a controlled match.

Lucas Beraldo (6.5) – As calm as ever on the ball. Overall, it was a fairly uneventful match; he was quite uncompromising with his opponents. A good match.

Lucas Hernandez (6) – He showed his desire and his ability to push forward. Defensively, he’s lacking in pace, but he defended well in the first half. Substituted in the 61st minute by Nuno Mendes.

Midfielders –

Lee Kang-in (5) – It’s always the same with him: he’s clean (too clean), he always uses the same dribble, often the same passing choice. He’s still too predictable. Substituted in the 61st minute by Désiré Doué.

Vitinha (6.5) – He had no problem controlling the play in the first half, but he needs to do more to speed up the game, with his passes, etc. He still managed to score (blocked shot) to give his team the lead.

Fabian Ruiz (5) – He did everything well, without any imagination. He lacked creativity in the first half. He’ll gradually get back on track. Replaced by Achraf Hakimi in the 61st minute.

Forwards –

Bradley Barcola (6) – Often well-positioned, he had the chance to exploit the ball, but he wasn’t impactful enough. We obviously expect more from him, but we don’t forget that it’s only the beginning of the season. He gave a lot.

Gonçalo Ramos (5) – Almost nothing to get his teeth into in the first half; he was champing at the bit. The ball circled a lot around the box, but rarely reached him. He almost scored a goal, not unlike Pauleta’s goal against Fabien Barthez. He gave a lot to the team, but it was a frustrating match. Replaced in the 78th minute by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Ibrahim Mbaye (6) – One of Paris’s best first-team players. He showed character. He pushed his play. He still lacks a bit of technical skill in his choices, but he tried hard on the wing. He needs to try to be less messy, but it’s very encouraging. Substituted in the 61st minute by Ousmane Dembélé.

Coach –

Luis Enrique (6) – He has the ability to help his team win, even when things are tough, and by repeating patterns, it ends up working.
