The two teams have had very different starts to the season, against opponents of a different caliber. Norway secured a 4-1 victory against Iraq to put themselves in the best possible position, while Senegal lost 3-1 to France, frustrated by a strong start but ultimately ineffective in front of goal.

Now, there’s a pressing need to secure points to avoid having to play as one of the best third-placed teams going into the final matchday. The pressure would be immense. The problem is that Norway won’t give anything away and they possess considerable quality.

This will undoubtedly be an intense and hard-fought match; let’s hope for a great spectacle. We wish Mbaye the best of luck in being decisive again after his beautiful goal against France.
