Jhon Duran, Aston Villa’s 21-year-old Colombian striker (contract runs until 2030), was rumored to be in Paris Saint-Germain’s sights for the mercato. In the end, however, he was transferred to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. This was made official today.
According to journalists, the transfer was completed for 90 million euros, including bonuses and a very substantial salary. This is enough to reduce any possible regrets on the Parisian side, although there’s no question of making a huge outlay on a player who still has a lot to prove, and who could obviously be thinking of something other than the top level at PSG.
We can be sure that the Parisian club is concentrating on leads that fit in well with the project, even if it means being patient at times, as with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23-year-old striker).
