Mahamadou Sangaré, an 18-year-old striker trained at Paris Saint-Germain, whose youth contract expired this summer, had to decide his future. The youngster posted a message announcing his departure from the club, without specifying the destination yet.
The most important thing is unfortunately clear: Sangaré is leaving PSG. It’s disappointing, because he’s a young talent with some potential. We always like to see a youngster join the professional team, and there was particular hope for this striker. But perhaps the coaching staff wasn’t convinced, or perhaps the youngster didn’t want to wait.
In any case, he’s leaving Paris and will try to make his professional debut elsewhere. Too bad. We wish him success, while it is understandable that the very tough competition at PSG could be worrying. Even if a loan could have been considered, it is not an easy path either.
