Lucas Chevalier, 23-year-old goalkeeper for the French national team, has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent transfer. The deal was made official today, with a contract until 2030.
We can only welcome Chevalier, with a wonderful adventure ahead at PSG. It begins, at least for us, with a few questions. What about Gianluigi Donnarumma, the 26-year-old goalkeeper whose contract expires in 2026? Some have suggested competition, others say it’s unthinkable. We hope everything will be resolved soon.
In any case, we will be cheering on the new Parisian goalkeeper, an immense talent just waiting to grow and prove himself. At club level as well as with the French national team, where he is currently number 2 behind Mike Maignan.
As a reminder, the transfer is estimated at €40 million, with bonuses that would bring the total to around €50 million.
