Achraf Hakimi, Paris Saint-Germain’s 26-year-old right-back, will miss Wednesday’s match against Lorient (kick-off at 7 p.m., CET) as part of the 10th matchday of Ligue 1 2025-2026. PSG announced this in a short official statement.

In agreement with the sporting director and technical staff, Achraf Hakimi will be rested. He will resume team training next Thursday.
This is a testament to the intelligent and cautious management of coach Luis Enrique and the club’s management. The players are playing a lot, so it’s important to be aware of possible fatigue. Hakimi will be able to take a breather before returning to action against Nice on Saturday (Ligue 1 Matchday 11), Bayern Munich on November 4 (Champions League Matchday 4) and Lyon on November 9 (Ligue 1 Matchday 12), followed by another international break.
This will be another opportunity for Senny Mayulu or Warren Zaïre-Emery (both 19-year-old midfielders) to get some playing time in this special role as full-backs in Paris. We may also see David Boly (16) get a few minutes, as he joined the professional squad in training last week.
