On Thursday, Paris Saint-Germain issued an official statement announcing a new milestone in its development strategy: a partnership running until 2028 with L’Oréal, the global leader in the beauty industry.
“L’Oréal Groupe is becoming the beauty partner of Paris Saint-Germain. This is a unique partnership, extending to 2028, forged between two organizations: the reigning two-time European champion and the world’s leading beauty company. The collaboration will be brought to life primarily through L’Oréal Groupe’s brands. Paris Saint-Germain and L’Oréal Groupe share Parisian roots as well as a common culture of performance and innovation, built on the power of teamwork.”
This is welcome news, involving a major global brand that also hails from Paris. It is a powerful alliance with significant reach. Naturally, this plays a key role in PSG’s progress as it increasingly establishes itself as a global brand—and not merely a football club, even though that remains a fundamental aspect of its identity. Indeed, that identity is bolstered by partnerships that benefit both the club’s image and its revenue. The tremendous work being done in this area is certainly worthy of praise.
