This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain released a short press release to officially announce the arrival of Landry N’Guessan, an 18-year-old midfielder who has arrived from Troyes on a two-year training contract and is joining the Espoirs squad.
“Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Landry N’Guessan, who has signed a two-year contract as a trainee. The young midfielder joins the Club from ESTAC Troyes, where he completed his youth academy training. He will be joining the Paris Saint-Germain U19 team.”
He’s a player who was probably not recruited at random, so we hope he’ll be able to rise to the occasion and help the Espoirs, and perhaps gradually earn a chance in the professional squad. That’s certainly his goal, but it’s bound to be difficult to achieve given the competition. We wish him a great adventure at PSG.
