As recently rumored, Mary Earps, the 33-year-old goalkeeper from England who arrived in 2024 from Manchester United, is leaving Paris Saint-Germain. PSG officially announced the news with a message from the goalkeeper to the fans.
Earps’ time at PSG will, unfortunately, be remembered as a disappointment. She arrived with a reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and the hope that she would help Paris become more solid defensively and further its project. But that extra something wasn’t there, and now the chapter is closed. We still thank Earps for her time at PSG and her professionalism. Of course, we appreciate her affection for the club and the city.
