Quentin Ndjantou, an 18-year-old striker/attacking midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain, was nearing the end of his youth contract. A choice was therefore needed for his first professional signing. This Monday, PSG formalized the signing of their youngster until 2028.
“Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Quentin Ndjantou Mbitcha’s first professional contract. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder is now tied to the Club until June 30, 2028.
Having joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2020, the French international is continuing his development at the capital club by taking the next step in his career. He will play with the U21 squad.”
There was talk, for a time, of a move, notably to Ajax Amsterdam. But PSG clearly managed to convince Ndjantou of his place in their project and the potential for him to grow there. We certainly hope he succeeds in gradually earning a place in the first team.
The attacking midfielder has taken a great step forward, but there’s still much to accomplish through hard work and patience. The club believes in him, which is already exciting. Now we’re waiting to see what happens next.
