While awaiting the major moves of the 2026 summer transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain has released an official statement announcing the signing of trainee contracts until 2028 for Wassim Slama (17-year-old attacking midfielder) and Toumani Diagouraga (18-year-old winger).
Wassim SLAMA
A Tunisian U17 international, the attacking midfielder, who joined the club’s youth academy, currently plays with PSG’s U19 team and will continue his development within the club under a two-year trainee contract.
Toumani DIAGOURAGA
Toumani Diagouraga, born in 2008, joined Paris Saint-Germain from US Sénart-Moissy during his youth academy years. Currently playing for the U19 team, the young winger will be tied to the club on a trainee contract until 2028.
This is great news, with young Parisian talents joining the PSG project. Slama and Diagouraga also see the club’s confidence in their future, which is always encouraging. They now need to continue working hard and patiently to gradually earn their place in the first team. This might involve a loan move.
