Senny Mayulu, the 19-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, started in the match against Nice on Saturday evening for Matchday 27 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. However, he had to leave the pitch in the 42nd minute due to a calf injury, replaced by Lucas Beraldo (22-year-old defender). PSG provided an update in an official statement on Sunday:
“Having suffered a right calf injury during last night’s match against Nice, Senny Mayulu will remain in treatment for the next two weeks.”
Mayulu will therefore miss the international break starting this Monday, a slight disappointment as he had been called up to the French U21 team. But he could return quickly and resume his good form at PSG. The bad news is somewhat limited.
It’s also worth noting that Lee Kang-In (25-year-old midfielder/forward) is not mentioned, suggesting that the knock he received yesterday did not result in a serious injury.
