Aymen Assab, a 17-year-old midfielder developed at Paris Saint-Germain, saw his youth contract expire in June. He therefore had to make a decision regarding his first professional contract. He has signed with AS Monaco; the move was made official this Monday.

The young midfielder, arriving from Paris Saint-Germain, is taking part in the professional squad’s return to training alongside young players from the Academy.
Welcome, Aymen!
There are no surprises here; this signing had been rumored for several days. There is still a hint of disappointment, however, as many had hoped to see Assab gradually carve out a spot for himself at PSG. The “Titi” could at least have fought for that opportunity.
At the same time, it is understandable that securing a place in the Paris squad seems like a daunting task. Leaving in hopes of finding more accessible playing time makes sense. It is also the “price to pay” for PSG, given the team’s elite level. In any case, we wish Assab all the best for the future.
