Senny Mayulu, the 20-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder/forward, suffered a muscle injury during the France U21 team’s match against Estonia (Euro qualifier) and had to leave the pitch in the first half. Ruled out for the remainder of the international break, he returned to Paris for further examinations. PSG released an official statement this Thursday evening following those tests.
“Having sustained an injury to his left thigh during the France U21 match against Estonia on Tuesday evening, Senny Mayulu will undergo treatment over the coming weeks.”
The news is rather unfortunate for the academy graduate, who has seen limited playing time early in the season due to fierce competition within the PSG squad. We hope the injury does not keep him sidelined for too long and that he manages to make a strong comeback.
