A short while ago, a video appeared on social networks in which a fan present at a Paris Saint-Germain training session at Campus PSG greeted Lee Kang-In (23-year-old midfielder/forward) with the phrase “ mon chinois” (“my Chinese”). The club did not appreciate this interaction with its South Korean player and took action.
The fan involved in the incident with Lee Kang-in has been permanently excluded from fan groups, and the player received an apology immediately after the training session.
We’re delighted to see PSG reacting to such comments.It’s all very well to enjoy humor and jibes, but there are obviously limits and players have to be respected.
It would be good to get back to a slightly healthier atmosphere around soccer.
