Paris Saint-Germain lost 1–0 to Olympique de Marseille on Monday at the Stade Vélodrome in Matchday 4 of the 2025–2026 Ligue 1 season. After the game, PSG coach Luis Enrique spoke to Ligue1+.

Luis Enrique: “We had clear chances to score. That’s football.”

Is this defeat even more bitter tonight?

“Of course. We’re not used to losing games, but today we still played a good match. It was tight and difficult, but I think we deserved a bit more.”

What happened — were you struggling?

“I need to analyze the match to say exactly. I think we did a lot of things very well; we had clear chances to score. That’s football.”

What will you say to the players?

“A defeat in a Classique is always difficult, no matter what. But this is a team of champions; we have to keep going and prepare for the next matches in the best way possible.”
