Emilie Osteras, a 24-year-old midfielder, has officially signed with Paris Saint-Germain through 2029, joining from AIK Fotboll Dam (Sweden). Speaking to PSG TV, the Norwegian international discussed the signing and her ambitions.
Osteras: “It’s a club with a lot of history and big ambitions.”
“I am very happy and truly excited to have joined a club as big as PSG. It’s a club with a lot of history and big ambitions. I would describe myself as a player who likes having the ball at her feet, dictating play, and who enjoys duels.
I think it’s been a great journey. It has made me who I am today. Of course, there have been ups and downs, but that made me stronger, and now, here I am.”
Osteras: “It’s a big league—very physical and fast-paced.”
“To be honest, I haven’t watched many French league matches, but I’ve obviously seen PSG in the Champions League and things like that. It’s a big league—very physical and fast-paced. I can’t wait to get started.”
Osteras: “If we win matches, we can win trophies.”
“It’s really great coming here to the Campus. Everyone is amazing, and the facilities are incredible. Everything you need to become a great footballer is here.
Of course, on an individual level, I’d like to develop my skills and improve. Collectively, I obviously want to win matches, because if we win matches, we can win trophies.”
