Portugal will face Ireland this Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. CET, with the match being broadcast on L’Equipe Live Foot. The match will take place at the José Alvalade Stadium as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Three Paris Saint-Germain players are involved in this match, all on the Portuguese side: Nuno Mendes (23-year-old left-back), Vitinha (25-year-old midfielder), and Gonçalo Ramos (24-year-old striker). Portugal is off to a great start with three wins in its first three matches. It will logically look to continue its run against the second-placed team, which has “only” four points. This would allow it to secure its place at the World Cup, or almost. Be careful, Hungary doesn’t intend to simply join the party. There is a team that will fight for its qualification.
The Portuguese will need to put in a strong performance, full of desire and focus. Not to mention that the victory against Ireland a few days ago only came in the final minutes. Victory is never a given.
We wish our Parisians a good performance, if they play, and to stay injury-free.
