Achraf Hakimi, the 27-year-old right-back for Paris Saint-Germain and Morocco, is in a race against time since the terrible tackle he suffered from Luis Diaz during the match against Bayern Munich in early November. He wants to resume his season as quickly as possible after a severe ankle sprain, while also aiming to play in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with Morocco, which starts in mid-December. This Thursday, he was seen returning to the pitch during a training session.

This is an important moment, with the return of weight-bearing exercises and running on the pitch. It’s a big step towards playing, but also a relief for the player who can finally get out of the gym. Note that there’s no official participation with the group yet, and it’s important not to rush things. But Hakimi is getting closer to competition. That’s excellent news.
