Paris Saint-Germain won 2-1 (3-1 on aggregate) against Arsenal this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes as part of the return semi-finals of the Champions League 2024-2025 (final on May 31). On the sidelines of the match, Achraf Hakimi, the 26-year-old full-back who scored the second goal of the match on Wednesday, spoke to PSG TV of his side’s qualification.

Hakimi “Few people believed in this team”.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment since I arrived in Paris. Now we’re in the final, we need to enjoy this moment with the fans, who deserve it too. In the work we’ve put in, there have been some very difficult moments.

I remember when we were almost eliminated from the Champions League. Few people believed in this team or in our work. Now, I’m proud to see the team’s attitude. With the personality we’ve shown, we deserve it all.”
