On the sidelines of Tuesday’s press conference to discuss tomorrow’s Champions League 2024-2025 quarter-final match (return on March 15) against Aston Villa at the Parc des Princes (kick-off 9pm, CET), Désiré Doué, Paris Saint-Germain’s 19-year-old midfielder and striker, was interviewed by PSG TV. The opportunity to talk about the Ligue 1 title and the group’s mentality.
Doué “We’ll be able to give everything to reach the semi-finals”.
Does winning the Ligue 1 title mean you can focus fully on the LDC ?
Ligue 1 was an objective this season, as it is every year for PSG. Personally, I’m very happy because it’s my first. And of course it allows us to focus fully on the Champions League. Especially as there’s no match in between. We’ll be able to give everything we’ve got to reach the semi-finals.
What’s the state of mind of the group ?
We’re ready. We’ve been working hard every day for a very long time. We’re ready to win this match at the Parc, and we hope the fans will be there to cheer us on as always.
