This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Aston Villa at the Parc des Princes in the quarter-finals of the Champions League 2024-2025 (kick-off 9pm, broadcast on Canal+). With 2 days to go, L’Equipe has put forward a likely Parisian line-up.

Barcola – Dembélé – Doué

Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves

Nuno Mendes – Pacho – Beraldo – Hakimi

Donnarumma.

Mind you, we’re still 2 days away from the match, so there’s still time for changes. It’s not an official team and coach Luis Enrique isn’t giving any indications to the press. There’s also a lot of speculation.

But it’s a possible team, and the midfield is fairly certain. The defense, rather, although Lucas Hernandez could play rather than Lucas Beraldo during Marquinhos’ suspension.

The big suspense is in attack, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia possibly a substitute. But it’s also far from a foregone conclusion that he’ll start. Désiré Doué could be on the bench, as could Bradley Barcola. It would be a huge surprise for Ousmane Dembélé.
