This Sunday evening, Paris Saint-Germain won 4-0 against Atlético de Madrid on Matchday 1 of the 2025 Club World Cup group stage at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The election of the best player was then organized by FIFA.
Vitinha (PSG’s 25-year-old midfielder) came out on top, without much surprise or evidence. For the Parisians, it was first and foremost the teamwork that impressed, with a number of in-form individuals. Other players could have won this honorary trophy, but the Portuguese undoubtedly delivered a great performance. Paris is obviously coming into its own.
