Paris Saint-Germain beat Inter Miami 4-0 (PSG/Inter Miami highlights) on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta in the Round of 16 of the 2025 Club World Cup. After the match, Paris striker Ousmane Dembélé (28) spoke to beIN SPORTS.
Dembélé: “It did me good to take a little break and take my time.”
Are you feeling good about your comeback?
Yes, I feel great. Physically, I feel much better. After the Nations League, it did me good to take a short break and take my time to get back into the swing of things.
Was it possible to play earlier?
Yes, I could start a little earlier. After that, we didn’t take any risks. I’m back for the good stuff.
Dembélé “there are still good things to come.”
How have you been received in the United States?
We’ve been very well received, whether in Los Angeles, Seattle or now Atlanta. We’re happy to be here, and happy with the way the Club World Cup is going. And there are more good things to come. We’re also hoping to go to New York (to play in the semi-finals and final), because there are some good things to come too.
How was your reunion with the Barça alumni?
Very good, I’m glad to have seen them, Messi, Jordi Alba, Suarez, Busquets, Mascherano and even Pepe, who I know. So it’s good to see them, I’m happy.
